PURPOSE:To obtain strong adhesion with excellent fatigue resistance between an unvulcanized hydrogenated nitrile rubber compd. and a fiber, by treating the fiber with a specific active compd., a specific latex mixture and a specific adhesive successively in this order, sticking the fiber to the rubber compd. and vulcanizing the rubber compd. CONSTITUTION:A fiber is first treated with an active compd. selected from the group consisting of a polyisocyanate, a polyepoxy compd. and a silane coupling agent, then dipped in a resorcinol-formalin-rubber latex mixture, heat treated, and finally treated with an adhesive compsn. comprising 1-90wt.% halogenated polymer of a halogen content of 25-75wt.% and 10-99wt.% aromatic polynitroso compd. The treated fiber is sticked to an unvulcanized hydrogenated nitrile rubber compd., which is then vulcanized. |
