METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DESALTING OF WATER BY ION-EXCANHGE

The method employs a separate intermediate me dium resin for separating deionczed resin from the mult-bed demineraling filter tank. A separate tank is used for storing and reeycling the inlermediate resin of inactive type or cation or anion exchange type. The tank is also used for separating cation resin from anion resin in the multi-bed and for regenerating cation resin, the anion exchange resin being transferred to another regeneration tank.
