<p>PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency and sorting accuracy by providing a storage compartment for every kind for a picking dolly and storing the article summarizedly picked in the dolly when the sorting for small quantity articles of multiple kinds are made by a patch picking method. CONSTITUTION:Articles are summarizedly picked from a storage shelf 1a while a picking dolly 2 is being pushed by a worker 5 to move in the passage between storage shelf rows 1. The articles picked are stored in the storage compartment of the dolly 2. When plural dollies 2 are used in this way, the compartment of the rows 1 in charge of the worker 5 is decided. When the summarized picking is finished, the dolly 2 is placed in a waiting position Q. After an article inspection is made there, the secondary picking, that is, the picking by stores is carried out. The dollies 2 are provided three groups with four dollies apiece, during the summarized picking is made from the shelf 1a with the dollies 2 of a group, the picking by stores is conducted with the dollies of another group, and the remaining dollies are stand-by.</p> |
