PURPOSE:To sharply reduce the transmission delaying time from the conventional example by equally dividing a transmission frame into plural sections and providing the same number of slots to each section, and then, causing a remote station to select and use the corresponding slots in each section. CONSTITUTION:One frame is equally divided into a front and rear sections. Each section is formed of the same number of slots. A remote state which selects, for example, the slot 1 of the front frame selectively uses the corresponding slot 1' of the rear frame. The signal to be inserted into the slot 1 when the remote station uses the slot 1 is constituted of a 'carrier and clock reproducing section', 'unique word section', and 'data section', but the 'unique word section' is omitted from the signal to be inserted into the slot 1'. Therefore, an increase in the overhead can be minimized. |
