PURPOSE:To obtain a capsulated toner having superior pressure fixability and improved charactersistics as powder by dispersing and sticking a specified metalkuc soap to the surface of the shell of a microencapsulated toner formed around the core substance. CONSTITUTION:A recording material such as carbon black is kneaded with DBP to prepare a core substance, and polyurethane resin is used as a binder which is formed around the core substance. Polyurethane resin or pllyurea resin is used as a shell material, and metallic soap which is a metallic salt of a >=16C higher fatty acid is dispersed and stuck to the surface of the shell. A thin film of the metallic soap stuck to the surface of the resulting capsulated toner prevents the capsules from sticking together and forming lumps. Thus, the characteristics as powder are improved, and a high quality image is obtd. by a pressure fixing method. |
