PURPOSE:To obtain clear pictures of both a driver and a vehicle by starting moving picture photographing by a TV camera, and simultaneously, photographing a still picture under the illumination of an stroboscope, and recording the moving picture and the still picture in a picture recorder. CONSTITUTION:The photographing at a moving picture mode is continued until the vehicle 4 is detected by a position sensor 7, and the passing state of the vehicle 4 is photographed by the TV camera 13 and recorded in a VTR 18. When the vehicle 4 reaches the position of the position sensor 7, light from a projector 7a to a receiver 7b is interrupted, and a position detection signal 8 is outputted from a processing circuit 7c, and a camera controller 14 receives this position detection signal 8, and a mode signal 15 is turned into a still picture mode. The TV camera 13 drives a shutter and takes one sheet of the still picture, and at this time, the stroboscope flashes simultaneously with the action of the shutter so as to photograph the vehicle 4. This still picture too is recorded in the VTR 18 through a picture processing circuit 20. Thus, the good record of the picture of an unlegal passing vehicle 4 can be obtained by the moving picture and the still picture. |
