PURPOSE:To shorten latency to enter a mobile machine to a cargo handling area by decelerating the mobile machine entering a velocity control area from an ordinary travel area to prescribed speed, and stopping the mobile machine by applying a braking force when the mobile machine exists in the cargo handling area. CONSTITUTION:At the time of detecting the fact that another mobile machine 4b approaches from the ordinary travel area 5b to the velocity control area 9b when the mobile machine 4a is traveling in the cargo handling area 2 or performing the delivery of an article at a cargo handling point, by a second sensor 10d, a controller 11 receives a signal from the second sensor 10d, and decelerates the another mobile machine 4b to the prescribed speed. When a first sensor 10b detects the fact that the another mobile machine 4b travels in the velocity control area 9b at the prescribed speed and it approaches the cargo handling area 2, the controller 11 supplies a stopping command to the another mobile machine 4b. In such a way, it is possible to shorten a cycle required for the delivery of the article from the preceding mobile machine 4a to the succeeding mobile machine 4b. |
