PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory copy image by eliminating ununiform density by providing a light source for exposing a photosensitive body, and an image formation time control means for setting an image in an arbitrary position of a document so that the time when an image is formed on the photosensitive body becomes integer multiple or roughly integer multiple of a half period an AC voltage applied to the light source. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a light source 6 for exposing a photo sensitive body 21, and an image formation time control means for setting an image in an arbitrary position of a document so that the time when an image is formed on the photosensitive body 21 becomes integer multiple or roughly integer multiple of a half period of an AC voltage applied to the light source. Therefore, when the image in an arbitrary position of the document is formed on the photosensitive body 21, an effective value of the voltage applied to the light source 6 becomes equal irre spective of a position of the document, and a fluctuation of the light quantity of the light source 6 can be eliminated. Accordingly, the light quantity at the time when the image in an arbitrary position of the document is formed on the photosensitive body 21 becomes equal in any position of the photosensitive body 21. In such a way, no gradation appears in a copy image, and the copy image whose density is uniform can be obtained. |
