PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor having >=150K Tc by replacing a part of the Ba site with an alkali metal and replacing Bi(Pb) with Bi(Sb, Pb). CONSTITUTION:After annealing a mixture consisting of BaO, alkali metal oxide, Bi2O3, Pb2O3, and Sb2O3 by calcining provisionally in a closed vessel, the product is pulverized and molded under compression, and then calcined finally. Thus, a metal oxide superconductor expressed by the formula(wherein 0<x<0.7; 0.01<y1<0.4; 0<y2<0.3; M is at least one kind of alkali metal selected among Li, Na, K, Rb, and Cs) is obtd. |
