PURPOSE:To enable the exchange of only a discharge lamp when the discharge lamp is broken by providing a constitution consisting of a first base plate loaded with a certain component part of a high frequency lighting circuit and a second base plate supported by the back surface of a discharge lamp connecting part above the first base plate, and electrically connecting the first base plate to the second base plate. CONSTITUTION:A first base plate 38 has a through port 39 for passing discharge lamp connecting parts such as a socket holder, and it is also loaded with at least an electronic part forming a preheating circuit for starting the discharge lamp, an electronic part forming a part of a high frequency lighting circuit, and an electronic part forming a protecting circuit. The first base plate 38 is electrically connected to a second base plate 37 by a lead wire. A fluorescent lamp 40 is removably installed to a lighting equipment by inserting the socket 41 of the fluorescent lamp 40 into the discharge lamp connecting part recessed on the lower case 3 of an equipment body 1. Hence, a small-sized and light- weighted lighting equipment separated from the discharge lamp which is capable of easy and certain installation and removal of the discharge lamp can be obtained. |
