摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce reflection at an adhered border part by specifying nXd values of respective layers of the reflection preventive film consisting of four layers of alternate TiO2 and SiO2 on a substrate when (n) is a refractive index and (d) is thickness. CONSTITUTION:The wavelength of incident light is denoted as lambdao, lambdao/1 is equalized to '1', and the nXd values of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th layers are set to 0.24-0.6, 0.68-1.2, 0.64-1.26, and 0.3-0.48 respectively. For example, the n.d values of the 1st - 4th layers from the side of the GGG substrate 20 are set to 0.5X(lambdao/4), 0.85X(lambdao/4), 1.05X(lambdao/4), and 0.4X(lambdao/4) respectively, the wavelength lambdao of the incident light is 650nm, and the refractive indexes of the GGG substrate 20 and an adhesive are set to 1.93 and 1.54. In this case, the transmissivity is >=99.9% and the reflection is <=1/10. Consequently, when a rotator and a polarizer are used while fixed with the adhesive, the reflection at the border part is reduced.
