PURPOSE:To recover a CPU from runaway at the time of runaway of the CPU from a conventional microcomputer system by providing two control means which send reset signals to each other after the end of the initial processing to perform the initial processing in each other. CONSTITUTION:At the time of normal operation, one CPU 11 performs the initial processing when the reset signal is given to this CPU. Switching signals are sent to signal switches 51a and 61 to which a sensor 4b and a motor 4a are connected, and the sensor and the motor can be controlled by the CPU 11 through input/output interfaces 41 and 51 connected to the CPU 11. The reset signal is outputted to the other CPU 12 to reset the CPU 12. The CPU 12 performs the same operation, and the whole of the microcomputer system is controlled while switching the CPU for the control of the microcomputer system at intervals of a time required for a series of processings. Thus, one CPU is easily recovered from the runaway state to the normal state though falling to the runaway state. |
