PURPOSE:To accurately discriminate whether the shape of an object part passes the check or not by providing an instrumentation area generating means, a correction area generating means, a position correcting means, and a feature quantity measuring means. CONSTITUTION:An instrumentation area is generated correspondingly to the picture of the object part by an instrumentation area generating means 5, and a fixed correction area including an object and each movable correction area including each object part and a position of the object having prescribed positional relations to this object part are generated by a correction area generating means 6. The position of each movable correction area is corrected by a position correcting means 7 in accordance with the deviation of the prescribed position of the object, which is included in the fixed correction area, from a reference position, and the position of each instrumentation area is corrected in accordance with the deviation of the position having prescribed relations, which is included in each movable correction area, from a reference position. The feature quantity of the picture in the object part in the instrumentation area is obtained by a feature quantity measuring means 8, and it is discriminated based on this feature quantity value whether the shape of the object part passes the check or not. Thus, the shape of the object part is accurately checked. |
