Class 75(3) An electric torch 5 is supported in a channel in the top surface of a pad 2 and retained on the head by a head band 1 which passes through slots 3 in the pad and over the torch. The undersurface of the pad has a channel diverging towards the front of the head. In an alternative form an elastic ring surrounds the centre of the torch and its ends engage hooks on the ends of a pin passed through the end of the pad. An elastic ring may be pivotally mounted in a clip secured to the end of the pad or a spring clip may be secured thereto. The torch may be rotated with the ring to rest in the channel eneath the pad. The under edge of the pad may be shaped to the contour of the head and may have cut outs for the band. The pad may have a flared circular base with side slots for the band. The pad and band may be made of resilient material such as rubber and the contacting surfaces may be roughened.
