PURPOSE:To permit printing of a photographic original plate and an emulsion surface of a plate in tight contact with each other by evacuating the air between the emulsion surface of the plate and a transmparent film with a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION:A screen 4 is extended on a plate frame 11, and a photosensitive emulsion is coated uniformly on the screen 4 over the entire surface, whereby the plate is formed. The emulsion surface of the screen plate and a photographic original plate 6 which is a positive film are mated and are covered thereon with a thin transparent film 7. The outside circumferential parts 2a- 2d are hemmed with a tightly closing body 8 to prevent entry of air as shown in the sectional view and the air between the emulsion surface of the plate 4 and the film 7 is evacuated with a vacuum pump. Thus, the plate 6 and the emulsion surface of the plate 4 are brought into thoroughly tight contact with each other, and the plate is printed. |
