An energy-transmitting carrier, shaped for example as an energy-transmitting link chain or as a flexible conduit, receives several cables, hoses (4, 5, 6) or the like capable of being linked to corresponding cables, hoses or the like belonging to parts of machines. Plug or socket elements (7, 17) hingedly connected at the extremities of the flexible chain or conduit are on the one hand firmly secured to the cables, hoses (4, 5, 6) or the like and on the other hand can be detachably connected with corresponding elements of the machine parts.
