JOYSTICK ARRANGEMENT FOR KEYBOARDS, IN PARTICULAR COMPUTER KEYBOARDS

A joystick arrangement (10) permits selective actuation of a number of predetermined keys (22) of a keyboard (12) by means of a joystick mounted so as to swivel above the key field containing thekeys to be actuated. The swivelling movements of the joystick are transmitted in function of the direction to at least one actuating arm from the number of actuating arms (16), which are moved by their free ends to a position directly above the corresponding key to be actuated, corresponding to the number of keys (12) to be actuated, in such a way that the key is depressed. The end of the joystick shaft (26) nearer the keyboard is mounted on one key (22) in the key field, and the actuating arms (16) are assembled into a single actuating component (14) through which a section of the joystick shaft (26) passes.
