PURPOSE:To obtain a new-type recording material capable of, for example, even a multi-recording in a high-density recording by a method wherein a dye group is dispersed in a medium in non-associated states, and an inter molecular action between the medium and the dye is changed by an energy from the external. CONSTITUTION:A recording material 2 is composed of an arbitrary medium Mi and an arbitrary dye group Di. The dye group Di and the medium Mi are in such a fixed interaction state as that the Di is solvated in the Mi. The Di are dispersed in non-associated states with each other. Here, with the application of a light or other energy from the external, an inter-molecule action between the dye and the medium is changed by the action of the light or a heat accompanying the light. When the aforesaid basic construction is laminated in two of more layers, for example, a spectrum of a first layer made of D1/M1 is changed by a light of a wavelength lambda1, and similarly spectra of second, third,... (i)-th layers are respectively changed by lights of wavelengths lambda2, lambda3,... lambdai. In this manner, an (i)-valued change corresponding to the respective wavelengths, i.e. a multi-recording, can be performed. |
