发明名称 SUBLIMABLE TYPE THERMAL TRANSFER MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a lowering of the density of a transfer image caused by multiple-time printing by successively laminating a dye supply layer, which consists of a reaction product of isocyanate and a compound having active hydrogen and a sublimable dye, and a dye transfer layer to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A dye supply layer containing an org. binder being a reaction product of isocyanate and an active hydrogen-containing compound and a sublimable dye is formed on a substrate. Next, a dye transfer contributing layer is laminated to said dye supply layer to prepare a sublimable type thermal transfer medium. As an embodiment of the binder used in the dye transfer contributing layer, there are a vinyl chloride resin, polyamide or polyethylene. As an embodiment of the high-molecular compound for a binder having active hydrogen in the dye supply layer, there are polyvinyl butyral, polyvinyl acetal, polyurethane polyol or polyester polyol.
