PURPOSE:To form a flat blanking hole simply and accurately by cutting a round hole at the center of the position of a work where a blanking hole is to be made, holding the work by a pad having a hole that communicates to the round hole and a guide frame, and cutting little by little with a wedge-shaped blanking edge through the hole of the guide frame. CONSTITUTION:A round hole 21 having the same diameter with the hole 2 to be blanked is provided at the center of position of a work 1 where the blanked hole 2 is to be cut. The work 1 is held by an edge plate guide frame 4 having an edge holding hole 41 that guides a wedge-shaped blanking edge 5 and a pad 3 provided with an edge hole 31 that encases the tip 51 of the wedge-shaped blanking edge 5. Then, the wedge-shaped blanking edge 5 attaching to the tip of the piston shaft 61 of the cylinder 6 of a hydraulic press is inserted into the edge holding hole 41, and cutting is performed little by little to both sides by blanking edges 52-56 around the round hole 21. By this way, flat blanked holes 2 of fixed width and length can be formed accurately, easily, simply and quickly. |
