摘要 <p>In a magnetic field the concentration is strongly influenced by the magnetic fluid filling quantity. A filling quantity of 1,4 x gap volume leads to a magnetic reduction. A quantity of 2,5 x gap volume, which is most effective, is not possible wiht the standard seal design. A solution to prevent magnetic fluid losses under static and dynamic conditions is the application of a cover (16) which encloses the magnetic fluid volume (14, 15) between the pole ring (12, 13) and the shaft (10). The static pressure can now even reach 10 times the values of the standard seals and under dynamic conditions a pressure capacity of 1,5 times.</p>
