PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of a printing surface by simple apparatus constitution by providing the means mounted to a printer in a detachable manner and fixing printing to printing paper. CONSTITUTION:The printing to printing paper is performed by emitting ink to the printing paper while an ink jet type printing head 26 is moved and, since a hot plate 22 being a fixing means is arranged so as to be in contact with the rear of the paper immediately after printing, the ink on the paper is heated by the hot plate 22 to be dried within several sec and fixed to the paper. The paper after printing is fed while held between a paper feed roller 23 and a spur 20, because a delivery roller 14 is rotated in synchronous relation to the paper feed roller 23, to be received in a hopper 5. At this time, even when the printing surface of the printed paper received in the hopper 5 is rubbed with the leading end of the fed paper, the ink is perfectly fixed to the paper and the printing surface is not contaminated. |
