PURPOSE:To add an additive in a molten state to molten steel easily in a short time and at high yield by decompressing an airtight container and sucking the molten additive therein, and then compressing the airtight container to spout to the additive into molten steel. CONSTITUTION:A container 1 of airtight structure formed of a main body 1a and an upper cover 1b is fitted with a sucking and blowing-off pipe 3 in an inverted channel shape, and its one end part is inserted into the container 1 through said upper cover 1b. This airtight container 1 is moved to above a dissolving furnace 8 to dip the tip part of said pipe 3 in a molten additive 7 such as Al in the furnace 8, and the container 1 is decompressed through a vacuum pump 5 to suck the molten additive 7. Then, the container 1 is moved above a foundry ladle 10 and a paper-made pipe 3a is fitted to the tip of the pipe 3 and dipped in molten steel 9 through slag 11, and a three-way selector valve 4 is switched to connect piping 2 to a pressurized air supply source 6; and the container 1 is compressed to spout the molten additive 7 in the container 1 into the molten steel 9 through the pipe 3. |
