<p>A formate salt of a nitrogenous base is produced by reacting hydrogen and carbon dioxide with a nitrogenous base in a multi-liquid phase in the presence of a catalyst comprising an inorganic or organometallic compound of a metal of Group VIII of the Periodic Table and a compound of an element of either Group VA or Group VIA of the Periodic Table of the Elements.</p> |
