PURPOSE: To perform decorative finishing at a low cost by adhering a sintered colored material to the surface of a strip provided with the surface of plastic or rubber material. CONSTITUTION: A sealing strip is made up of a groove-like holding part 5 and a soft seal part 6. The holding part 5 is made of a plastic or rubber material 8 for covering a groove-like holding hardware 10. The outer surface part of the holding part 5 not supporting the seal part 6 is exposed to the outside in the room. Thus, the outer surface is coated with a solvent or primer. Then, powder material which is sintered and colored to a suitable color, is dropped to the surface to be adhered to it. Then, immediately, the powder material is heated, melted and sintered. Surplus powders are removed by the air injection, etc. This method allows decorative finishing to be inexpensively and surely performed. |
