Two-stroke engine fuel injection control system

The valve 62 is opened to inject compressed air from inlet 61 into the engine cylinder after exhaust port closure and fuel from an injector 63 is admitted into the air flow when the valve is open. The quantity and timing of fuel supply by the injector 63 varies dependent upon engine speed and throttle pedal depression and at light load the fuel is supplied towards the end of the open period of the valve 62, with the supply timing advancing with increase in load.
