<p>A measuring tool has front and rear plates (4), (6) providing two measuring points, (a), (b), which are drawn together or apart as necessary to allow the measurement of part tiles in corners of walls or floors. The tool can be locked into position by means of the locking mechanism 1. With tiles to be cut placed upon a stabilising board the tool is placed on the tiles and pushed against a ridge on the board to stabilise them. The tool is held firmly down on tiles which are scored along the measuring edge (b) on front plate. Attachment 5 can be added to enable to measure difficult places such as behind pipes. When the above has been carried out the tool can be removed, scored tiles can be placed over the said ridge and broken. <IMAGE></p> |
