PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition excellent in the balance between rigidity and impact resistance, solvent resistance and moldability by mixing a specified mixed resin with a compound having both an unsaturated group and a polar group and an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition comprises 100pts.wt. resin (A) comprising 20-60wt.% polyphenylene ether resin, 25-65wt.% polyamide resin and 1-35wt.% alkenylaromatic compound/conjugated diene copolymer, 0.01-10pts.wt. compound (B) having both an unsaturated group and a polar group in the molecule, and 1-50pts.wt. inorganic filler (C) of a mean particle diameter <=1mum. A particularly desirable example of component B is maleic anhydride or its mixture with maleic acid. As component C, a particulate filler is desirable because of its dimensional stability improving effect and an excellent balance among mechanical properties. |
