In a hydraulic breaker, oil pressure at a fixed value always flows in the low pressure circuit whenever the piston is raised or lowered. This avoids the need for an accumulator in this circuit. At the same time, a quantity of the high pressure oil is required for each of the rising and falling movements of the piston, which brings about less change in surge pressure, again resulting in no necessity for an accumulator in the high pressure circuit. The breaker also has an increased striking force, because, when the piston is lowered to strike the chisel, the high pressure oil is used as well as the reaction force of compressed gas.
|
