PURPOSE:To enable production of luciferase which is an enzyme for assay of ATP and is excellent in enzyme activity using the genetic engineering method by using a DNA capable of coding a special amino acid sequence. CONSTITUTION:A DNA coding an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula is inserted into a vector DNA and a microorganism belonging to Escherichia genus is phenotypically transformed by the resultant recombinant DNA. The resultant microorganism is cultured and the objective luciferase can be collected from the culture medium. |
