PURPOSE:To connect a control data terminal to a data exchange by multiplexing and separating communication data and control data, transmitting/receiving both data through a digital subscriber line, repeating the communication data to a communication path and relaying the control data to an exchange main controller. CONSTITUTION:A main controller 2 transits the control data, which switch the mode of a data analyzing circuit 17, to a main controller interface circuit 10. These control data are transmitted through a digital subscriber line 7 to a control data terminal station 14. A control circuit 18 executes the switch control of the data analyzing circuit 17 based on the received control data. After that, a control data terminal 14 is used as a digital subscriber terminal and the terminal of the controller 2. In a digital exchange 5, the received data is separated by a multiplexing circuit 8 and the communication data is transmitted through a communication data signal line 11 to a main switch 1. Then, the control data is transmitted to a control data signal line 12.
