PURPOSE:To check generation of aperture hole plugging and discharge inside of a tube by joining those parts composing a shadowmask assembly through a stator composed of a shape memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:Both ends 14 and 14 of a stator 13 maintained in the second shape are inserted into the holes 16, 16 and 17, 17 formed on a base 15 of a frame spring 10 and on a mask frame 8 respectively to be projected into the inside part 18 of a mask frame 8 while the stator base 19 between both ends 14 and 14 is engaged with the base 15 of a frame spring 10. Accordingly the stator 13 is heated up to the higher temperature than the prescribed temperature. As a result, both ends 14 and 14 of the stator 13 transform into curled shape intending to restore the first shape to be pressed against the inside part 18 of the mask frame 8 thus to fix the mask frame 8 and the frame spring 10 to each other while being pressed. And finally the transformation of both ends 14 and 14 of the stator 13 stops in a state maintaining the residual stress for said pressed fixation. |
