PURPOSE:To change the arranging direction of an original, to easily grasp the reading direction of the original and to execute the fitting synthesization of a picture at an angle, which is desired by an operator, by displaying the pictures of the two originals, which are picture synthesizing subjects, or displaying an instruction for the arranging direction of the original. CONSTITUTION:A first display means A is provided to display the arranging direction of the first original and a second display means B is provided to display the arranging direction of the second original on an external device on the basis of a picture signal from the external device which can execute the picture synthesization. An arranging direction changing means D is provided to change the arranging angle of the first original in correspondence to an arranging direction instructing means C for the first original. A picture reading means E is provided to read the first original synchronously with a synchronizing signal from the external device, to convert the original to a digital picture signal and to send the signal to the external device. Thus, since a device to read a picture to be synthesized is provided separately from a picture forming device, a picture >=A4 size can be synthesized as well and a transmitting film picture can be also synthesized. |
