<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize an error signal with a simple constitution by detecting the reproducing level of a video based on a pilot signal and executing the correction to display a low pass filter characteristic to an error signal. CONSTITUTION:When fluctuation occurs at a tracking error detecting signal S3, a reproducing level signal component is fluctuated. At this time, a CPU 47A prepares the gain value data to display a low pass filter characteristic in accordance with the change of a reproducing level signal component based on a fetched target value data. The data are used for the correction operation of the gain of an error signal component included in the error detecting signal S3, and consequently, the tracking position of the reproducing head for the recording track of a magnetic tape is not fluctuated. Thus, a tracking error signal is stabilized and the tracking control is facilitated with a simple constitution.</p> |
