PURPOSE: To facilitate fitting and to smooth force transmission in a curved path by providing a holding means simultaneously engaged with an end fitting and a flange of a connector member to prevent relative axial motion of the end fitting and flange. CONSTITUTION: A flexible core element 14 is slidably supported by a conduit 12, and the conduit 12 is held by a connector member 16 with a radially extended flange 18 and an opening part 20 with an enlarged part 22 formed. An end fitting 30 with a fitting flange 36 and a cylindrical part 32 engaged with the outer surface of the connector member 16 is further provided, and the end fitting 30 and the flange 18 are held rotatably but out of axial motion by a retainer 38 simultaneously engaged with the end fitting 30 and the flange 18. A sealing means 52 is provided between the connector member 16 and the end fitting 30. Fitting is therefore easy, force can be transmitted in a curved path, and axial motion can be prevented while allowing relative rotation of the conduit 12 and end fitting 30. |
