PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a cell owing to a deformation of lead terminals generated in a transport, and owing to a short circuit of the cell, by using a lead terminal made of a shape memory alloy which is an Ni-Ti alloy. CONSTITUTION:Lead terminals 3 and 4 made of the 55.3wt% Ni-Ti alloy are welded and fixed to a material cell 1. The cells are put in a tray in such a condition, packed, and transported. When the cell is mounted to a circuit base, the lead terminals 3 and 4 are bent by the shape memory effect of the Ni-Ti alloy by heating the cell at 60 deg.C or higher, and the cell is mounted to the circuit base in such a con dition. As a result, a damage owing to a deformation of the lead terminals generated in the transport, and owing to a short circuit of the cell, can be eliminated. |
