发明名称 OPTICAL FIBER TYPE WAVELENGTH CONVERSION ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of the single crystal of an org. nonlinear optical material and to decrease defects such as gaps and cracks by forming the thin film of a polymer material having <=500nm thickness between a core and clad. CONSTITUTION:This conversion element has the clad 1 consisting of an inorg. material, the core 2 consisting of the org. nonlinear optical material and a coupling agent layer 3. The thin film of the high-polymer material having <=500nm thickness is formed between the core 2 and the clad 3. The wavelength conversion element to be used with visible light does not require the adjustment of the refractive index in case of <=500nm thickness of the above-mentioned thin film. The formation of the single crystal of the org. nonlinear optical material is easy in this way and the defects such as gaps and cracks in the single crystal are decreased.
