PURPOSE:To increase the durability of a cutter shaft protection cover and to increase the strength thereof by engaging a metal ring with the tip of a resin made main body. CONSTITUTION:After inserting a protection cover 1 into the cutter shaft 4 of a slitter, it is inserted into the cutter shaft 4 with sliding a cutter along the upper face of the protection cover 1. In this case, a metal ring 3 on whose inner face an inclined part 5 is formed is engaged with the resin made main body 2 tip part of the protection cover 1. Consequently, the durability and wear resistance of the tip of the protection cover 1 can be improved. |
