PURPOSE:To construct the title device so as to have both the unequally distributing function and the differential limiting function in the lateral or longitudinal direction of driving torque by differentiating the measure of the pitch diameters of the reciprocally engaging spur gears of respectively pairing worm wheels. CONSTITUTION:When the differential is not generated to output shafts on both sides, a differential case 11, worm wheels 12L, 12R and worm gears 13L, 13R are integrally rotated so that the rotation torque is distributed to the output shafts on both sides in proportion to the pitch diameters rL, rR of spur gears 12La, 12Ra. On the other hand, when the right and left wheel resistances are different, the relative rotations are generated among the differential case 11, the worm wheels 12L, 12R and worm gears 13L, 13R so that the differential is generated between the right and left wheels as well as the title device functions as a torque proportion type differential limiting-device by the friction torque between the worm gears and thrust washers 15, 16. In addition, the torque uneually distributing function is displayed by the different measures of the pitch diameters of each pair of spur gears.
