PURPOSE:To make excellent travelling fuel consumption with small dispersion possible by displaying the judged result or whether or not acceleration is proper from the viewpoint of fuel consumption with respect to present speed, corresponding to a display means. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 2 calculates acceleration from the output of a speed sensor 1. In order to judge whether or not this acceleration is proper from the viewpoint of fuel consumption with respect to present speed, it is compared with an acceleration judging value which is set previously. Next, the judged result is displayed corresponding to a display unit 10. With this arrangement, a driver can know whether present acceleration is proper or not from the viewpoint of fuel consumption, and further it is advised whether he should accelerate or decelerate. Accordingly, by means of that the driver drives basing on this advise, excellent fuel consumption characteristic with small dispersion can be obtained. |
