<p>PURPOSE:To execute satisfactory control for the quality of a tape moving device and a tape cartridge by using a standard cartridge, executing the correction of an error which is peculiar for the device, after that, exchanging the cartridge to a user cartridge and correcting the error which is peculiar for the use cartridge. CONSTITUTION:At first, the error to be peculiar for the device is corrected by using the standard cartridge. Next, the error is corrected by using the use cartridge. Since the error to be peculiar for the device is already corrected in the fir correction, a corrected value to be obtained in the second correction can be specified to be caused by the error which is peculiar for the use cartridge. In stead of using the standard tape cartridge, the error to be peculiar for the device is corrected in advance before the cartridge is mounted, after that, the cartridge is loaded and the error to be peculiar for the cartridge can be corrected as well. Thus, the quality control of the device and tape cartridge can be satisfactorily executed.</p> |
