The invention concerns a device for the insertion of a thread 2 in a pipe line, whereby the thread is taken from a thread store 3, is passed through a pistol-like device 1, the front end of the thread is fastened to a ball 4, and whereby the ball 4 is forced through the pipe line by means of compressed air. The invention is characterized in that the thread store 3 is arranged in a separate stand 5, the thread 2 on its route between the thread store 3 and the pistol-like device 1 is protected by being enclosed in a spiral spring 6 and the pistol-like device 1 having an opening 7 to expose the thread 2 through which the ball 4 can be drawn back towards the muzzle of the pistol prior to being fired into the pipe line. <IMAGE> |
