PURPOSE:To make possible the maintenance of the constant stable run by storing load variations in advance during the travelling of a carriage and controlling a voltage applied to a motor depending upon the stored load variations. CONSTITUTION:A DC motor 31 is driven by a preset voltage V1, and a pulse period from a linear encoder 103 is stored in RAM 201 measured by CPU 200. Next, the second voltage V2 set in advance is applied to the motor 31 and a pulse period corresponding to the position of a carriage 20 is likewise measured. At that time, a drive voltage Vref of the DC motor 31 which enables a specified carriage speed Sref to be reached, is calculated from the measurement value. This calculated value is stored in RAM 201. After this, in order to ensure the constant run of a carriage 20, an address is output from CPU 200 to RAM 201 in response to an output from a linear encoder which indicates the position of the carriage 20. Then a digital value corresponding to Vref which is output from RAM 201 is sent to a D/A converter 202, and an electric current is amplified by a motor driver 203 based on the analog value to rotate the motor 31. |
