PURPOSE:To increase the S/N of a reproduction signal by forming ferromagnetic crystalline alloy parts in a paramagnetic amorphous recording layer and using these parts as the recording sections. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer 2 is formed as the paramagnetic amorphous layers 3, 4 and the ferromagnetic crystalline alloy parts are formed in this recording layer 2. Recording of prescribed information by controlling the directions of the magnetization of the recording sections 5 is possible if the ferromagnetic alloy parts are used as the recording sections 5 of information. Since the parts except the recording sections 5 are amorphous, the light scattering of the grain boundaries generated by irradiation of a laser beam L at the time of information reading generated when a polycrystalline alloy is adopted as the recording layer 2 is decreased. The S/N of the reproduction signal is increased in this way. |
