PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of an apparatus by providing a device for setting a destination and a running distance to the destination, a device for outputting a pulse signal showing the running distance and a subtraction counter subtracting the running distance. CONSTITUTION:A pulse-type running distance meter 3 comprises an odometer or a tripmeter 4 and a pulse generating circuit 5 and outputs one pulse signal in proportion to a running distance, e.g. for 10 meters. Every time when one pulse is inputted from the running distance meter 3, a subtraction counter 1 subtracts 10 meters from a distance set by an input device 2 and outputs the result of subtraction to a visual display device 6 and an audio unit 9 with regard to a remaining distance at every 100m, 0.5km or 1km, for instance. Receiving the result of subtraction, the audio unit 9 outputs the remaining distance to the destination through a speaker 11 in audio means. |
