<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a video signal with a copy protection signal from being used for recording by deciding existence of a signal part selected beforehand by generating a inhibit signal to hinder a recording means from copying the video signal in response to a detector. CONSTITUTION: A detector 48 transmits an energization signal to one of input terminals at gate 52 and responds to the existence of a copy protection signal in this output. When a recording mode control, for instance, is in the internal recording mode, the energization signal is supplied to another input terminal at gate 52 and as a result, the gate 52 generates an energization signal introduced into one of input terminals of OR gate 57. The OR gate 57 responds to the energization signal and generates an inhibiting signal led to a recording means 61, and the recording means 61 responds to it and hinders the video signal directly supplied to the recording deck from being recorded. Thus, the copy protection part can be removed before a video signal is introduced into the recording means 61.</p> |
