<p>PURPOSE:To supply hot water having a temperature higher than a specified temperature, and to make a hot water storage tank compact in size in order to obtain a hot water storage type hot water supply apparatus with less heat loss, by providing a controller by which hot water storage volume is gradually increased while the temperature of hot water in the hot water storage tank is maintained within a range between a second set temperature and a third set temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 3 detects the hot water temperature TH in a hot water storage tank 1, and a controller 10 compares the hot water temperature TH with a first set temperature T1. When the hot water temperature TH in the hot water storage tank 1 is higher than the first set temperature T1, a water supply solenoid valve 5 is opened to supply hot water until the hot water temperature drops to below a second set temperature T2, and hot water supply is stopped when the hot water temperature TH becomes lower than the second set temperature T2. When the temperature sensor 3 detects the hot water temperature TH in the hot water storage tank 1 and it is lower than the first set temperature T1, a heat source is turned on to heat hot water until the hot water temperature TH in the hot water storage tank 1 becomes higher than a third set temperature T3, and the heat source is turned off when the hot water temperature becomes higher than the third set temperature T3. The water storage volume in the hot water storage tank 1 is gradually increased while water supply and heating actions are repeated to maintain the hot water temperature TH within a range between the second and third set temperature T2 and T3.</p> |
