摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a fuel from flowing out from an auxiliary tank even if one of two water level sensors has a trouble and enable a safety of a safety device to be attained by a method wherein two water level sensors are installed within the auxiliary tank and contact points of the two water level sensors are connected in series. CONSTITUTION:It is detected that liquid fuel within an auxiliary tank 5 is less than a first set water level 8 by a first water level sensor 10, a sucking pump 6 is operated and liquid fuel of a fuel tank 4 is passed through a fuel pipe 7 and sucked into an auxiliary tank 5. As liquid fuel within the auxiliary tank 5 exceeds a required amount of fuel, the first water level sensor 10 detects that it is more than a set water level 9 and the sucking pump 6 is stopped. If the first water level sensor 10 has a trouble, the water level is sensed by a third set water level 11 at an upper part of the second set water level 9, a contact point 20 is turned off with the second water level sensor 12 and the sucking pump 6 is stopped. At this time, the second water level sensor 12 is not automatically returned, so that an abnormal state can be acknowledged.
