PURPOSE:To improve scratch resistance, slip properties and ink fixability and to further impart even high smoothness and high glossiness by containing a specific amount of calcium carbonate and kaolin in a color former layer and applying supercalendering to said layer under a specific nip pressure condition. CONSTITUTION:15-45wt.% of calcium carbonate and 15-45wt.% of kaolin having a mean particle size of 0.3-1.2mum are contained in a color former layer and supercalendering is applied to said layer under a nip pressure condition of 150kg/cm<2> or more. Whiteness and ink fixability are enhanced by containing calcium carbonate, and the roughness and scratch resistance of a coating surface accompanied by the compounding of calcium carbonate are improved by containing kaolin and, by applying supercalendering, coloration paper for pressure-sensitive copy paper wherein high smoothness and high glossiness in the relation to the compounding of pigment are imparted and slip properties are well at the same time and printing workability is excellent is obtained. |
