PURPOSE:To ensure detection of the closed condition of a shielding body by making a shielding body to be constructed integrally capable of opening and closing in a spring-up manner, and providing two switches in close proximity of the shielding body for operating the shielding body itself as a dog, and they are arranged to be at all times in a condition wherein one of two is in an ON-state, and the other in an OFF-state. CONSTITUTION:A shield body 3 is placed to be a closed state, and shields the top part of a cylinder assembly. And, at the time when an injection unit is turned and an injection nozzle part is inspected in being nozzle touched, the shield body 3 is sprung up, and the spring-up position is kept by means of a ball catch 10. In a controlling part of the injection molding machine, if various conditions are set such that each condition of a switch 4 in an OFF-state and a switch 5 in an ON-state is a closed condition for the shielding body 3, and the reversed condition in an ON and OFF state of each switch is an opened condition for the shielding body 3, and the condition of both switches in an ON-state or OFF-state together is an abnormal condition, the control unit may act to operate the injection molding machine only when the shielding body 3 is closed completely. And, in the case wherein either one of switches is out of condition, both switches become of an ON-state or OFF-state together, and the control unit judges an abnormal condition so as not to stop or start the operation of the injection molding machine. Thus, the shielding body can be retreated from the injection nozzle top part completely. |
